La Quinta Inn Miami Airport East

Everything was perfect about this hotel EXCEPT there was no room key for 104. Any time we needed to get back in the room we had to stand at the front desk to get someone to open the door for us.They said key machine was broken and had no backup. The breakfast area was a little crowded the way they set up the food up. Two Luggage carts were mising when we checked in. Employee had to search the floors to find them while we waited. Someone should be watching for these at all times for the next guests who check in. ...read more

We stayed at this hotel as a lay-over after our honeymoon. The staff was not particularly helpful, there was sour milk at breakfast, no restaurants around as an alternative, and the room smelled awfully of paint or smoke, or something the receptionist was talking on the phone as we checked in and asked at least three times what the last name was for the reservations. We experienced a similar situation when we were checking out. Breakfast only lasts till 9:30am on week days and we got down there about 5 minutes before it was supposed to be over. The place was swamped, the lady who was cleaning up did not speak English and when we asked for milk for our cereal, she poured sour milk into our bowls! There was no other food left and no restaurants around for us to go get breakfast. We tried to find something to do until we had to leave to catch our flight, but the pool was closed for repairs and filled with green, murky pond water. Not a very good experience! ...read more

I never has ben in this hotel from now and the future I will like to stay in this hotel, please Priceline keep in mind this hotel for me in the future.

Bad news first, the mattress sank in the middle, the room keys kept getting demagnetized, we had to go to the desk and get them reset every time we tried to use them. The hotel would be impossible to find if we didn't have a GPS and even with the GPS it was difficult getting into and out of the hotel without getting lost. Everything else was so nice I hate to complain. The room was fresh, clean and modern. The pillows, linens and shower were scrumptious for a hotel this price. The room had a coffeemaker with regular, decaf, an iron with full size ironing board, a blow dryer, free wireless Internet. The continental breakfast was good. The staff was courteous and helpful. They asked how everything was and seemed to care when told the mattress was uncomfortable. ...read more

It was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Bennigan's was next door, could see parked planes from Bennigan's, therefore planes taking off overhead, which was expected being so close. No walkable other things. Tried to call out for pizza but I didn't speak Spanish so was very difficult. ...read more
